Welcome to the Arabic alphabet lesson series. This is the 6th lesson of the series “How To Pronounce Arabic Alphabet Correctly with Shaykh Ismail Al-Qadi.

Today, in this lesson you’ll learn the correct pronunciation of the Arabic letters Tua (ط) and thua (ظ).

Tau (ط) is the 17th letter of the Arabic alphabet. This is not the Taa we know from Baa Taa THaa. Tau is a much deeper and thicker version of ت.

Thau (ظ) looks like Taa but it has a dot on top. Thau is a heavy letter.
