Maqluba (Makloubeh) with chicken(Arabic rice )
How to make chicken maqluba | Palestinian Maqluba recipe

Maqluba.
Onion-1 small( chopped)
Finely chopped Garlic-1 tablespoon
Salt-2-2&1/2 teaspoon
Chicken-750g
Arabic spice mix-2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
Paprika-1 -2 teaspoon
Pepper powder-1 teaspoon
Water-5 cups
Whole Spices: bay leaves (1 or 2) cinnamon stick

Vegetables: I used egg plant and potatoes. Fry it.
For rice:Rice-2 cups basmati rice ( 500 g)Wash and soak for 20-30 minutes.
Salt-1 teaspoon
Tomato paste-1&1/2 tablespoon
Pepper powder-1/2 teaspoon
Oil
One or two tomatoes for layering.

Garnishing: I used fried almonds.

Recipe ingredients for the Shakshouka

Onions / Piyaz 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Green chilli / Hari mirch 1 thin (finely chopped)
Garlic cloves / Lehsun 3-4 (finely chopped)
Tomatoes / Tamatar 6 large (peeled and chopped)
Olive oil 3-4 tablespoons
Butter 2 tablespoons
Red chilli flakes / Kutti lal mirch 1/2-3/4 teaspoon(according to taste)
Salt / Namak 3/4 teaspoon (according to taste)
Paprika powder 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder / Zeera powder 1 teaspoon
Mustard paste 1 teaspoon
Black pepper / Kali mirch 1/2 teaspoon (freshly crushed)
Capsicum / Shimla mirch 1/2 cup (chopped in small pieces)
Eggs 6 large size

Salt and black pepper (to sprinkle on top of the eggs)
