kpop idols taking advantage of being multilingual

hello! this is sort of an extension of my last video, since i’ve always found the language mixing in kpop super interesting & wanted to compile some of those moments!

also, the clip with nichkhun probably should have gone in my last video, but oh well. i think this video is like the antithesis of the “kpop idols playing the foreigner card” video (which, btw, you can find here! https://youtu.be/Fho7aBS9rkg)

‘The Multilingual Turn in Language Education: An Essential Skill for the 21st Century’, by Dr Nayr Ibrahim (Head of Young Learners and Bilingual Education, British Council, Paris)

The plenary session at our Teaching for Success conference 2017, this talk explores multilingualism as a holistic phenomenon. It looks at how children develop and manage multiple languages, what teachers can do to build on children’s linguistic repertoires, and why a multilingual approach is imperative for educational systems.

Don’t forget to check out overviews of other speakers’ conference talks on:
learner autonomy (https://youtu.be/NAIveZJNLsc);
combating bullying (https://youtu.be/NyPfwDPCpcQ);
getting teenagers talking (https://youtu.be/YujVo5hNEIo);
and integrating speaking into CLIL lessons (https://youtu.be/blCjDBJ5XbY).
